Registration for Continuing, Re-entry, and Transfer Students

Registration for the 2025-2026 academic year will open during the week of Monday, 16 June 2025 for all continuing and re-entry students in good standing and for new transfer students who have received confirmation of their final transfer credit assessment.  Registration will remain open throughout the summer.

Students can view their individual registration start times from the Banner Self-Service registration menu at noon on 12 June 2025.  Start times are based on a student’s year of study, program and then on total credits earned.  Credits earned prior to 10 June 2024 will be included in the determination of registration start times.

Course Audit

A student may request to audit a course (not for credit) by obtaining approval from the course instructor. The approval should be sent by email including student name, student ID, CRN and course information to the Registrar’s Office within the first week of the term.

Students must have an active status to audit courses. Those who do not have an active status will be required to apply for admission and be accepted prior to being permitted to audit courses. Admission and registration deadlines for the university will be in effect.

A student given permission to audit a course may attend and participate in the course and may, in agreement with the instructor, choose to receive feedback for submitted course work and/or exams, but will not receive a grade and will not be given credit for the course. Students wanting to take the course and receive credit will be given priority over audit students. The fee for auditing a course is normally one-half of the normal course fee. A decision to audit must be made within the first week of the term in which the course begins. Students who elect to audit a course may not later request to receive credit for the course. Audited courses cannot be dropped after the first week of the term in which the course begins.

Students who audit courses are charged one-half of tuition and registration fees. Senior citizens (age 65 and over) are not charged tuition or registration fees for undergraduate on campus courses only.
