Welcome to the Faculty of Science (FoS) at St. Francis Xavier University (StFX). I encourage you to take more time to read about the details of the rich set of programs offered in the FoS and the extensive opportunities for outstanding education. Our dedicated faculty and staff are accomplished scientists and practitioners, and they work collaboratively to provide our students with exceptional education while caring for their well-being. Our faculty are world-class researchers, and they take great pride in advancing scientific knowledge and fostering student curiosity. As dean of the Faculty, I embrace scientific inquiry and I continue to conduct research in evolutionary game theory among other topics.

StFX is student-centered and offers extensive opportunities for personal and academic growth for students through a supportive community of staff, faculty, and administration. The opportunities include experiential learning, research, and leadership. We continue to improve services and opportunities for students and our commitment is made clear in our 2022-2027 Student Experience and Opportunity Plan.
