To the campus community,
We have recently been made aware of video footage circulating on social media that shows individuals climbing on top of an ambulance. The footage suggests that the individuals involved are StFX students and we have opened an investigation.
The behaviours demonstrated within this video footage are shocking, disappointing, and totally unacceptable. Our frontline healthcare workers contribute so much to the safety and health of our communities, especially during the pandemic. They deserve our thanks and utmost respect.
The university has a code of conduct that outlines the investigatory and disciplinary processes that we will follow. To be clear, if these individuals are identified as StFX students, they will be subject to our disciplinary process.
