Volunteering your time is an excellent way to help benefit X and stay connected to your alma mater. There are many ways for you to get involved, either back at StFX, or wherever you are through your local Chapter.

Student Send-offs

One of the things that makes StFX so special is our connection as alumni and our dedication to supporting students. Student Send-offs are a popular and fun way for you to get involved.

They take place all over the world and are focused on welcoming students to the Xaverian community. Be part of a unique experience, share your thoughts and memories about X with an incoming student and help welcome them to our worldwide network.

The L'nu symbol. L’nu is a word the Mi’kmaq use to describe themselves, meaning “human being” or “the people.”

StFX espi-kina’matno’kuom etek Mi’kma’ki, wejkwa’taqanik Mi’kmaq maqamikewmuew mna’q iknmuetu’tik. Nalikitquniejk na Mi’kmawey wisun wjit Antigonish teluek Aklasie’w-iktuk, ‘place where branches are torn off.’

StFX is located in Mi’kma’ki, the unceded ancestral territory of the Mi'kmaw people. The Mi'kmaw name for Antigonish is Nalikitquniejk, meaning ‘place where branches are torn off.’
