Jennifer Alex is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance. She graduated from StFX with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree before earning her professional accounting designation (CPA CA) in Industry. During her tenure in industry, Jennifer focused on corporate compliance and external reporting. In her current role as an Assistant Professor, Jennifer's primary teaching responsibilities revolve around managerial accounting and introductory business, and accounting courses. She is actively involved in the creation of undergraduate accounting case studies, several of which she has co-authored and integrated into her teaching curriculum. Jennifer is a PhD Candidate at the University of Portsmouth (UK) where her research interests center on corporate governance and environmental reporting.
