Interlibrary Lending (ILL)

Interlibrary Lending (ILL), also known as Document Delivery, supports the instructional and research needs of the St. Francis Xavier University community by borrowing materials which are not available within the libraries at StFX.

Requesting Material

New Requests

All new ILL requests can be submitted from the Novanet Discovery Interface (catalogue).  See the Knowledge Base articles for instructions on how to request a book and how to request an article or book chapter.  The button below will take you to a blank ILL form if your catalogue and database searches cannot locate the item you need. Please perform a catalogue and/or database search before using this form.

Status Check

To check on the status of your loans and requests, please sign into the Novanet catalogue, click the drop-down menu next to your name in the top right corner, and select "My Loans" or "My Requests".
